ViSS is available on a licence basis per institution with no restrictions on the numbers that may be screened. ViSS is available for a limited period on a special introductory offer at 25% discount on educational prices. A one-year licence for either version costs £48.75 (normally £65) or £97.50 for a three-year licence (normally £130), and £146.25 for a five-year licence (normally £195).

Prices are exclusive of VAT, post and packing. The program is designed to run on standard stand-alone multimedia PCs with Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. Operation with Windows 98 and ME is usually satisfactory but not guaranteed.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The purpose of ViSS is to identify children who will be most likely to benefit from coloured overlays or tinted lenses when reading. However, ViSS DOES NOT determine which particular colour would be most suitable for any given child who has visual stress: for this stage of the process, overlay testing or referral to a tinted lens practitioner is recommended.
